Meet the Family

Dr. Jason Orowitz

For Dr. Jason, being a chiropractor is all about connecting with people and helping them express life at a higher level of physical, spiritual, mental and emotional awareness. He thrives on the personal connection he makes with his clients, their families, and their pets.

Jason was on track to become a dentist when a golf-related injury crippled him with excruciating back pain. After months of inconclusive tests from medical doctors and neurologists, Jason’s best friend, a chiropractor, finally convinced Jason to try chiropractic. The chiropractors discovered that Jason’s pain was the result of a rotated vertebrae in his lower back which was causing pressure on a nerve.  With just two chiropractic adjustments, he felt better right away. Inspired by his experience, Jason left the dental path, and went to the New York Chiropractic College. After finishing school, he headed west to Colorado and joined Boulder Sol.

“I realized that chiropractic could be a life, not just a job,” Jason said. “Not only does chiropractic help people’s back pain go away, it helps their neurology function at a higher level. This facilitates a more present life, and I love being a part of that. It’s why I’m here.”

Since moving to Colorado, Jason has become deeply involved with the Boulder community,  and he regularly offers complimentary treatments to returning military veterans and to those affected by the Four Mile Fire. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Jason is climbing fourteeners with his dog, Darwin, who wouldn’t have it any other way.

Jason’s clients will tell you that he is kind, gentle, and spiritually grounded. People, horses and doggies alike are drawn to him for this reason. But enough reading things on websites… come in and see us!

Animal control nabbed him and he found his way to Boulder through Summit Dog Rescue. He now enjoys hiking, skiing powder with his dad and laying around the office.
